Rare are books that so scrupulously capture the chaotic scope of human and canine emotion as "Go Dogs Go". The book deftly weaves in several subplots which serve as complex metaphors for various philosophical and political debates (the hedonistic dogs-in-a-tree party, the brief but memorable rooftop epiphany: "It's too hot out here in the sun")-- but at its core lies the complex relationship between the female and male protagonist whose headwear-related proclivities are diametrically opposed.
The heroes establish common ground at the end by instilling in readers a universal truth which still rings true today: the more shit on your head, the better.
I give this book three and a half stars out of five because I have't had a chance to finish it yet. I hope to in the next few years.
